Hanshin Engineering Wins First Contract of the Year for 62.5 Billion KRW 'Ansan Seonbu 2-dong Area Housing Reconstruction and Maintenance Project'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Hanshin Engineering & Construction announced on the 13th that it has won the Ansan Seonbu-dong 2 District Housing Reconstruction Maintenance Project worth 62.5 billion KRW.
This project involves the reconstruction of houses in the area of 998 Seonbu-dong, Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, and is Hanshin Engineering & Construction's first contract win of the year. The complex will consist of four apartment buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, along with auxiliary welfare facilities, totaling 364 households. It is composed of 89 households for association members, 253 for general sale, and 22 for rental. All units will be medium-small types with exclusive areas ranging from 59 to 84 square meters. The construction contract amount is 62.5 billion KRW, and the construction period is 34 months.
The location is adjacent to Seonbu Station on the Seohae Line (Sosa-Wonsi), Chojik Station, and Ansan Station (Line 4), and is within approximately 2 km of Seoansan IC on the Yeongdong Expressway, making it convenient to use the metropolitan transportation network. Various convenience facilities are located around the nearby Seonbu Plaza, and with the progress of large-scale reconstruction projects, the residential environment is expected to improve further. Schools of all levels such as Seonil Elementary, Seonil Middle, Wonil Middle, and Seonbu High are nearby, and convenience facilities like Hanaro Mart and Homeplus are also located near the project site.
The Ansan Seonbu-dong 2 District Housing Reconstruction Maintenance Project will begin relocation simultaneously with the contractor agreement, with construction scheduled to start in the second half of this year, and completion and move-in expected in September 2023.
