[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced on the 10th that it has opened the Doksan-dong Usijang website (http://dswoo.or.kr) to revitalize the Doksan-dong Usijang commercial district.

The 'Doksan-dong Usijang website' was created as part of the Doksan-dong Usijang specialized commercial district revitalization project to introduce affordable and high-quality products sold at Doksan-dong Usijang to many people who are not familiar with the market, and to provide information on various events and promotions held at the Usijang.

The Doksan-dong Usijang website contains comprehensive information about the market, including the locations, contact information, product categories, and business hours of about 180 stores, as well as 'Store-specific business information,' 'Usijang guide and operation information,' 'Parking facilities and transportation guide,' and 'Various discount events and promotions.'

Additionally, to help users make the most of Doksan-dong Usijang, it offers Usijang know-how such as 'Gopchang Jeongol (beef tripe hot pot) tips' and 'How to prepare abundant food for camping.'

Besides building the integrated website, the Doksan-dong Usijang Merchants Association will hold a Lunar New Year cultural event on the 17th from 10 a.m. The event will include traditional folk games such as Garaetteok (rice cake) slicing, Jegichagi (Korean shuttlecock kicking), and Yutnori (a traditional board game), as well as a prize giveaway event for customers who purchase over a certain amount.
