Chosun University of Science and Technology and Taiwan Kun Shan University of Science and Technology Sign Student Exchange Agreement
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University of Science and Technology (President Jo Soon-gye) recently signed an agreement with Kun Shan University of Technology in Taiwan regarding student exchange and major-related global training programs.
Chosun University of Science and Technology announced on the 9th that President Jo Soon-gye and university officials recently visited Kun Shan University of Technology (President Li Tianxiang) in Tainan City, Taiwan, and signed a detailed memorandum of understanding on student exchange with the overseas sister university.
The agreement includes dispatching 20 students annually for major-related global training programs between the two universities, conducting pre-language training before exchange student programs, exchanging graduation project exhibitions, and organizing department tours and industrial site visits related to major-linked training.
President Jo Soon-gye stated, “The agreement with Kun Shan University of Technology in Taiwan is important and meaningful not only for the university but also nationally,” adding, “We will continue to grow as a university that meets the demands of the international era through multifaceted exchanges with overseas universities.”

Meanwhile, Chosun University of Science and Technology has been accelerating the cultivation of global talent by establishing sisterhoods and exchange agreements with various countries including Russia, China, the Philippines, Canada, Japan, and Vietnam, starting with its sisterhood with Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology in New Zealand in May 1999.
