Hyundai Marine & Fire Launches Children's Insurance with Expanded Coverage for Congenital Anomalies
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 8th that it has launched the 'Good & Good Children's Comprehensive Insurance Q,' which increases coverage for risks related to pregnancy and childbirth.
The insurance comprehensively covers risks throughout a child's life cycle, including high-cost critical illnesses such as multiple pediatric cancers, the four major disabilities, and benign brain tumors, as well as child liability, vision correction, rhinitis, and atopy.
In particular, for the first time in the industry, it provides coverage for injury surgeries due to congenital malformations, hospitalizations due to congenital brain diseases, and emergency room visit medical expenses, which were previously excluded from coverage in children's insurance.
Additionally, new coverage has been added for children's alopecia areata, specific language disorders, and stuttering, and the coverage period has been extended to allow coverage from the day of hospitalization for pregnancy and childbirth-related illnesses or miscarriage.
Customers who subscribe will also receive child medical care services that provide parenting consultations, hospital guidance, and reservation agency services, as well as the "Uri Ai Apayo" service, which offers fever management guidelines based on the child's temperature information.
