Gaion, an AI big data analysis specialist company, announced on the 3rd that it launched the AI-based customer-tailored import and export analysis statistics platform "BigTrade" on the 1st in collaboration with the Korea Trade Statistics Promotion Institute.
BigTrade utilizes and analyzes about 500 million import and export customs clearance data records from the past five years held by the Korea Trade Statistics Promotion Institute, which is the authorized agency for trade statistics issuance by the Korea Customs Service, to provide public institutions, local governments, and general import-export companies with ▲customized statistics ▲trade trend forecasts ▲automated analysis reports.
The customized statistics service personalizes users' areas of interest to compare and analyze import-export items, regions, industries, and more. The trade trend forecast service offers AI-based import-export forecast information that can be used for demand prediction or anomaly detection. The automated analysis report generation feature allows users to receive selected import-export statistical information in report format.
At the service launch ceremony held on December 30 last year, Yoon Igeun, President of the Korea Trade Statistics Promotion Institute, stated, "With the BigTrade platform, local governments and related organizations can utilize foundational data for fostering key industries and establishing export policies, and companies can reduce errors during import-export declarations or enhance their competitiveness."
