Turkey Arrests 7 Suspects Involved in Carlos Ghosn, Former Renault-Nissan Chairman's Escape to Lebanon
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Turkish authorities have arrested seven individuals suspected of being involved in the escape of former Renault-Nissan Alliance Chairman Carlos Ghosn to Lebanon, Anadolu Agency reported on the 2nd (local time).
According to the report, the seven people arrested by Turkish authorities include four pilots, two employees of a civilian cargo company, and one employee of a civilian land freight company.
Bloomberg News, citing a senior Turkish official, reported that former Chairman Ghosn appears to have fled to Lebanon aboard a business jet operated by a subsidiary of the Turkish cargo airline 'MNG Airlines.'
Meanwhile, Turkish prosecutors are reportedly investigating the detailed circumstances of former Chairman Ghosn's transfer.
