KEPCO Nuclear Fuel Starts the New Year with Opening Ceremony and Visit to the National Cemetery
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea Nuclear Fuel (KNF) held a New Year's ceremony on the 2nd at the company auditorium with employees in attendance, pledging a strong start to the year.
Jung Sangbong, President of Korea Nuclear Fuel, emphasized the smooth promotion of the construction of the 3rd plant and the normalization of safety in his New Year's address.
He set key tasks including establishing an innovation foundation for stable fuel supply and creating growth engines through continuous overseas projects and technology development.
He urged all employees to spend the year communicating and harmonizing with the spirit of sangsaengnakseong (相生樂生), meaning mutual coexistence and joyful living.
After the ceremony and New Year's greetings, about 40 executives and senior staff visited the National Daejeon National Cemetery to honor the spirits of the patriotic martyrs.
They pledged to contribute to the national economy and national energy security as a nuclear public enterprise.
At the ceremony, the KNF Awards for last year were presented.

The Production Division Award was given to Deputy General Manager Kim Hangrae, the Design Division Award to Team Leader Jang Doik, and the Quality Division Award to Manager Baek Munseok, respectively.
