Gas Safety Corporation Holds Farewell Ceremony for President Kim Hyung-geun
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea Gas Safety Corporation recently announced that President Kim Hyung-geun's resignation letter submitted to the government was accepted, and a farewell ceremony was held on the 2nd at the main auditorium of the headquarters. About 400 executives and employees of the corporation attended.
In his farewell speech, President Kim said, "The two years I spent at the corporation were a time of innovation, social value creation, and building a foundation for gas safety," adding, "The improvements in the recruitment system, the establishment of the Human Rights Center for human rights management and gender equality management, and the basic work for gender impact assessment are the pride of our corporation."
He stated, "The achievements such as securing the budget for the second dormitory of the Gas Safety Training Center, the Gas Safety Promotion Experience Center, the opening of the Chungbuk Northern Branch Office, and the Gas Safety Call Center are thanks to the strength of the executives and employees," and added, "I hope the organization will continue to cooperate with the core values of absolute safety and people-centeredness and become a lively and thriving institution."

President Kim took office in January 2018 and served as the 16th president of Korea Gas Safety Corporation.
