On the 1st (local time), according to the Hollywood Reporter and Variety in the United States, the Kansas City Star All-Rise Police Department announced that Mollie Fitzgerald was arrested on December 24 last year on murder charges.
Mollie Fitzgerald is accused of stabbing her mother, Patricia E. Fitzgerald (68), multiple times with a weapon at her home on the 20th of the same month, resulting in her death.
The police reportedly responded to a report stating "Patricia appears to have died at home" and found Patricia's body at the scene.
According to the police, Mollie Fitzgerald was present at the scene of the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
Mollie Fitzgerald has been charged with second-degree murder, was set a bail of $500,000 (approximately 579 million KRW), and is currently detained in jail.
The motive for the crime has not yet been revealed.
Meanwhile, Mollie Fitzgerald appeared as 'Stark Girl' in the 2011 film 'Captain America: The First Avenger.'
