Vice Chairman Ha presented five key tasks to be pursued this year, including driving digital transformation: ▲ Innovation of customer experience across all business areas ▲ Securing a sound profit structure ▲ Thorough preparation for future businesses ▲ Perfect management of quality, safety, and security ▲ Cultivation of a dynamic organizational culture, urging active execution.
In his New Year's address, Vice Chairman Ha said, "It is difficult to provide differentiated new services or understand customer needs and inconveniences with the current business and working methods," adding, "To achieve fundamental change and innovation, digital innovation must be actively promoted across all business areas."
He explained, "Digital transformation is not a newly introduced task but about innovating processes and systems at all customer touchpoints so that customers can experience services more easily, comfortably, and enjoyably than before, thereby creating tangible results. We must enhance capabilities in AI, big data, cloud, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) and apply them at customer touchpoints to achieve outcomes."
Regarding the promotion of digital transformation, Vice Chairman Ha expressed his intention to directly monitor progress and share results through the ‘DX Promotion Committee,’ which includes the CEO and heads of each division.
He stated, "If we innovate customer experience through digital transformation, we will not only achieve business goals in the short term but also secure new business opportunities in the long term, forming a foundation for future growth."
Regarding future businesses, he expects 5G, which started in B2C, to expand significantly into B2B, emphasizing the gradual expansion of concrete business models and the successful commercialization of 5G B2B.
