YouTube Channel 'Daram's Yololozolo': Traveling Across Korea and Abroad by Bike with Her Father

"In a rapidly passing world, I want to pause for a moment and record the moments of life enjoying the breeze."

'Daram's Yololozolo' is a YouTube channel that shares stories of traveling the world by bike. By posting videos of cross-country trips around Korea and overseas journeys on a motorcycle, the channel has attracted about 68,000 subscribers.

The channel is run by CEO Idaram, who majored in music. However, in 2018, feeling a sense of monotony in life, she decided to pursue freedom through motorcycles, something she had dreamed of since childhood. The channel's main audience is people in their 20s to 40s. It is also subscribed to by those who dream of freedom and adventure through motorcycles and travel, as well as aspiring riders or virtual travelers who hope to embark on a journey someday. She explained, "Rather than flashy skills or expensive gear, the key to the channel's popularity is sharing honest experiences and emotions, such as stories of mistakes made as a beginner or the awe of watching a sunset during a trip, all experienced firsthand while riding."

Her Father, Who Opposed Riding, Got His License and Received a Surprise Motorcycle Gift

Daram's Yololozolo is a channel featuring content created by a father and daughter. From the early days of the channel, her father strongly opposed Idaram riding motorcycles, but he has since become her most reliable riding companion. Her father, who had devoted his life to his family, challenged himself to obtain a Class 2 motorcycle license at the age of 60, and their journey of riding together was captured on video. The content showing her surprising her father with a motorcycle attracted significant attention, surpassing 1.57 million views.

Idaram said, "After losing my mother, I left Seoul and moved to Wonju to be with my father, thinking it would be nice if we could share a hobby together. At first, my father started with half worry and half curiosity, but he gradually fell in love with the charm of motorcycles, and the sight of him traveling with his daughter seems to have touched viewers' hearts."

Recently, she has expanded her business by launching products for bikers, such as gloves and bags. Drawing on her years of experience riding motorcycles, she began creating products that address shortcomings she had felt and that are truly necessary from a rider's perspective. The flagship product, the 'Yololozolo Kid Leather Gloves,' went through dozens of sample iterations to achieve optimal grip and a soft fit. Smaller sizes were also made available for female riders. The product sold out its initial stock and ranked first in shopping search rankings on portal sites, gaining popularity.

Expansion into Biker-Related Products Such as Gloves and Bags... Integrating Products into Travel Content

These products are showcased using the 'YouTube Shopping' feature on the Cafe24 platform, allowing them to be naturally displayed in content and the 'Store' tab within the channel, with guidance on how to purchase. Idaram explained, "Even without specifically encouraging viewers to visit the online store, viewers can experience both the video and the product in a single flow through tagged product information."

Recently, she has been focusing on 'expanding brand experience.' Beyond simply selling products, her core strategy is to plan new products that incorporate customer feedback and to create synergy by naturally integrating products into travel stories. This year, her goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers and to introduce one or two new products that capture the unique vibe of 'Daram's Yololozolo.'

She also expressed her desire to improve society's negative perception of motorcycles through her channel. She emphasized, "While it is true that some negative perceptions have arisen due to the dangerous driving of a few riders, most riders prioritize safety and enjoy freedom within established rules. I believe it is also an important role of our channel to show that motorcycles can be a safe and enjoyable leisure culture."

Additionally, she hopes the channel will become the first one people think of when they want to start riding motorcycles. Idaram added, "My goal is to become the most trusted lifestyle motorcycle brand where people can confidently make purchases. I hope that through our videos, someone will gain the courage to embark on a new challenge, and that our products will make their journey safer and more fulfilling."
