Since July 21, when the government began distributing the "Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon," the coupon has been given a variety of nicknames due to its difficult and lengthy official name. Users find it hard to recall the exact name at the time of use, making it challenging to refer to accurately.

On July 30, posts titled "Collection of Livelihood Recovery Something Who Lost Their Real Names" appeared on several online communities and social networking services (SNS). According to these posts, people are actually using phrases like "Is the livelihood recovery something available?" or "Is the coupon available?" when talking in stores.

One user wrote on SNS, "The Livelihood Recovery Coupon was given too long a name. When people come into the store, they just ask, 'Can I use that?'" The post was followed by comments such as, "Is the livelihood something available? Is the coupon available? Is that consumption thing available? Can I use my disaster relief funds?" showing that people are calling it whatever comes to mind.

Another user shared, "My younger sibling shortens 'Livelihood Support' to 'Minji.' Whenever buying something, they ask, 'Is Minji buying this?'" One review even mentioned that a customer at a soup restaurant asked, "Is recovery possible?" or "Is public sentiment recovery possible?"

Some store owners put up signs saying "Minsaeng something is available," or posted notices listing phrases like "Livelihood Recovery Coupon accepted, livelihood something accepted, livelihood accepted, recovery accepted, Lee Jaemyung card accepted, government money accepted, Minhoecu accepted, that is possible, life turnaround impossible."

The "Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon" issued by the Lee Jaemyung administration provides 150,000 to 450,000 won per person, with applications having opened on July 21. According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, as of July 31, 45.55 million people, or 90% of all eligible recipients, had applied for the coupon, and a total of 8.2371 trillion won has been distributed.

Anyone can apply for the consumption coupon until 6:00 p.m. on September 12, regardless of year of birth. The coupon can be received as a credit or debit card, prepaid card, or local currency gift certificate (paper, mobile, or card). It can be used from the day after application until November 30, but only at businesses owned by small business owners with annual sales of 3 billion won or less. Large supermarkets, department stores, and entertainment venues are excluded.
