An unmanned patrol vehicle and a robot dog conducting patrols have appeared in a park in China.

Chinese local media, including Guangmingwang, reported, "Last weekend, a robot dog with the logo 'Patrol and Prevention' performed patrol duties together with an unmanned patrol vehicle in a park within the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area."

This is the next-generation smart patrol system recently introduced by the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. Two industrial smart robot dogs, eighteen L4 (Level 4) unmanned police vehicles, and fifteen manned patrol cars participate in the patrols.

Battery lasts about 4 hours... Capable of adapting to extreme environments such as heavy rain and high temperatures

Guangmingwang introduced this robot dog as the most advanced industrial robot dog in the world. It further explained, "It adopts a four-legged bionic design, with a multi-spectral camera and searchlight mounted on its head," adding, "It embodies both an industrial texture and a sense of future technology." Each unit weighs about 130kg and can move nimbly and freely.

The battery of this robot dog lasts about 4 hours. It can adapt to extreme environments such as heavy rain and high temperatures. Additionally, it is equipped with a gas detector and explosion-proof equipment, enabling it to be used not only for patrols but also for various tasks such as bomb disposal.

An official from the Economic-Technological Development Area explained, "By integrating AI algorithms and big data analysis, the robot dog can identify unexpected situations and fire hazards in real time during patrols and send warnings to the command center within seconds."

He added, "Patrol efficiency is three times higher than before, which is expected to significantly reduce blind spots in accident prevention and control."
