Yuanta Securities Reports Q1 Operating Profit of 72.8 Billion Won, Up 464% Year-on-Year
Yuanta Securities has achieved its highest-ever quarterly earnings.
According to a disclosure by Yuanta Securities on May 14, its operating profit for the first quarter of this year reached 72.8 billion won, a 464% increase compared to the same period last year.
Revenue came in at 1.7234 trillion won, up 126% year-on-year. Net profit for the period was 68 billion won, marking a 643% increase.

A representative from Yuanta Securities stated, "Leveraging its strengths in brokerage services amid a favorable stock market environment, the company’s commission-based business posted a record quarterly performance. In the first quarter alone, earnings exceeded half of last year’s total profit." The representative further explained, "In the asset management sector, the company turned a profit thanks to strong equity management results driven by the stock market rally and significant achievements in underwriting operations, allowing all business divisions to grow steadily."
