Nexa Dynamics to Host 'ASEA 2026' in Japan Through Subsidiary The Star Partner
K-content and commerce company Nexa Dynamics, together with its subsidiary The Star Partner, will host a large-scale K-pop entertainment event in Japan.
Nexa Dynamics announced that its subsidiary The Star Partner will co-host the "ASEA (Asia Star Entertainer Awards) 2026" at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, from May 16 to 17, with an expected audience of around 30,000 people. Since incorporating The Star Partner as a subsidiary in April, the company has been accelerating its strategy of linking entertainment IP to its K-content commerce business.
ASEA is a major event where global fandom and K-pop artists come together. It stands out as a fandom-based event that extends beyond on-site audiences to generate widespread online content dissemination. This project is being jointly conducted by The Star Partner, while its Japanese subsidiary, The Star E&M, will serve as the organizer and host in collaboration with domestic and international partners.
Nexa Dynamics plans to expand ASEA beyond a simple performance event into a business model that connects content and commerce. The Star Partner will focus on attracting a global fandom, and Nexa Dynamics aims to build a business structure that leverages this base to drive brand exposure, influencer marketing, buyer consultations, content dissemination, and commerce conversions.
The company is particularly focused on how entertainment IPs like ASEA can expand revenue streams not only through ticket sales and event operations, but also via sponsorships, advertising, brand collaborations, influencer marketing, and secondary content production. Their vision is to build a structure that forms a fandom around content and connects that fandom to brand experience and consumption, ultimately leading to commerce conversion.
At this event, Nexa Dynamics also plans to strengthen the global branding of its proprietary brand, BRMUD. The company will operate a brand booth at the venue and increase brand awareness among the global fandom through venue advertisements and red carpet backwall logo exposure.
Additionally, by inviting influencers and overseas buyers to experience products, create on-site content, encourage social media dissemination, and engage in buyer consultations, the company aims to secure effective marketing and distribution touchpoints that go beyond simple sponsorships.
Shin Donghee, CEO of Nexa Dynamics, stated, "ASEA 2026 is the first test market where The Star Partner's entertainment IP capabilities and Nexa Dynamics' K-content commerce strategy are combined. Starting with BRMUD, we plan to expand various brand collaborations and integrate MCN and AI content production capabilities to reinforce the K-content commerce foundation that translates content into real business results."
