Kumho Tire Senior Executive Sunmi Na Receives Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation on Automotive Day

Kumho Tire Produces Award Recipients for Two Consecutive Years
Kumho Tire announced on May 13 that Senior Executive Sunmi Na was selected as a contributor to the development of the automotive industry and received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy on the occasion of the 23rd Automotive Day.
Kumho Tire once again demonstrated its technological competitiveness in the future mobility sector by producing a recipient of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's commendation for the second consecutive year.
On May 12, at the Automotive Day event held at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Kim Jungkwan and approximately 250 industry officials attended the ceremony to honor contributors to the development of the automotive industry.
Nasunmi Kumho, Executive Director of Kumho Tire, was selected as a contributor to the development of the automotive industry and received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.

This year's awardee, Senior Executive Na, is responsible for the HR division and the R&D Commercialization Task Force at Kumho Tire, leading the establishment of the medium- and long-term tire technology roadmap and the advancement of the R&D system.
In particular, she was recognized for her contributions in establishing collaborative frameworks for future mobility technologies, including smart tire systems, and for strengthening the company’s technological competitiveness by securing outstanding research and development talent.
She was also credited with contributing to the expansion of research infrastructure and the development of an industrial base for the domestic tire industry through active participation in private R&D consortium activities and by promoting major research institution business agreements (MOUs).

Senior Executive Na stated, "It is meaningful to have contributed to the advancement of the domestic automotive industry and the acquisition of core tire technologies," adding, "Going forward, I will continue to focus on securing innovative technologies to lead the future mobility market and on building a research and development infrastructure that allows our researchers to fully demonstrate their capabilities."
