The rally was attended by Park's chief campaign co-chairs, Oh Kyung Im and Kim Namhee, along with Democratic Party candidates for the Gyeonggi Provincial Council and Gwangmyeong City Council, party members, supporters, and citizens, all reaffirming their determination to win the local elections and restore the livelihoods of residents.
At the rally, Park stated, "This election will determine the future of Gwangmyeong. It is also an election to completely judge the rebellious forces that have undermined people’s livelihoods and to protect the lives of our citizens. The Democratic Party will unite as one team to secure victory, safeguard citizens' lives, and create a greater Gwangmyeong."
He further emphasized, "For the past eight years, we have brought about change in Gwangmyeong together with our citizens. Now, it is time to complete the next 100 years of Gwangmyeong’s future with the power of the people."
In particular, Park presented his vision for Gwangmyeong’s future through five major "One Team Projects" involving collaboration between the national government, National Assembly, Gyeonggi Province, and Gwangmyeong City. The main components include: ▲ attracting a K-Arena to establish Gwangmyeong as a global cultural hub, ▲ building an employment-centered economic city where businesses and people gather, ▲ expanding sports, cultural, and artistic infrastructures closely connected to citizens' daily lives, ▲ realizing a model city that leads the basic social system, and ▲ creating a sustainable city where people and nature coexist.
