Osan City to Temporarily Operate No. 1 Public Parking Lot at Eunbit Stream Park
Temporary Opening During "OH! Happy Rose Festival" at Dolmen Park
To Be Operated Temporarily from May 23 to 31, Full Official Operation Scheduled for August
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province has completed construction of the No. 1 Public Parking Lot at Eunbit Stream Park (542-14 Geumam-dong) and will temporarily operate it from May 23 to May 31.
The temporary operation period of this parking lot coincides with the “OH! Happy Rose Festival” held at the adjacent Dolmen Park near Eunbit Stream Park. The city began temporary operations in line with the completion of civil engineering works to enhance parking convenience for festival visitors.
According to the city, the Eunbit Stream Park parking lot project was initiated to address parking inconvenience for citizens visiting Dolmen Park or the Geumam-dong commercial district.
The No. 1 Public Parking Lot has a total of 104 spaces. The total project cost was 2.91 billion won, of which 873 million won was secured from provincial funds.
The city plans to complete the installation of solar structures and electrical work in June, finalize the management consignment to Osan Urban Corporation in July, and officially open the parking lot for full operation in August.
Meanwhile, the city completed construction of the No. 2 Public Parking Lot at Eunbit Stream Park in December last year and has been operating it temporarily since February 21.
The No. 2 Public Parking Lot at Eunbit Stream Park was built with an investment of 530 million won. Management consignment negotiations with Osan Urban Corporation have already been finalized, and official operation is scheduled to begin in June.

An official from Osan City stated, “We will pay close attention to the operation during the temporary period to ensure that no safety accidents occur,” and added, “We will always do our utmost to alleviate any inconvenience for citizens.”
