A man in his 40s was apprehended by the police after attempting a robbery in the studio located within actress Kim Gyuri's residence.
On May 21, the Seoul Jongno Police Station announced that it had applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, a man in his 40s, on charges of robbery with injury.
According to the police, around 9 p.m. the previous day, Mr. A illegally entered the studio inside Kim's residence in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and attempted to steal money.
When another woman who was living with Kim discovered the crime, Mr. A fled the scene.

The police received a related report through the 112 emergency hotline immediately after the incident. Mr. A turned himself in at the Seoul Jongno Police Station three hours after the report was filed.
