Shinhan Bank Surpasses 300,000 Issued Nara Sarang Cards
First Among Third-Phase Service Providers
Shinhan Bank announced on May 21 that the "Shinhan Nara Sarang Card" has surpassed 300,000 issued cards, becoming the first among the three third-phase service providers to reach this milestone.
The Shinhan Nara Sarang Card is designed to suit the lifestyle patterns of military personnel fulfilling their service obligations and young customers in their 20s, offering enhanced everyday benefits. In addition to the volume of cards issued, the card's usage is also reflected in transaction amounts, which have exceeded 100 billion won.
The Shinhan Nara Sarang Card has expanded the most frequently used PX discount benefit from 2-3 times per month to "every day." It also provides discounts for popular brands among young people such as convenience stores and Olive Young, which are frequently used during leave and outings. Going forward, the bank plans to offer coverage for injuries and illnesses that may occur during military service through collaboration with Shinhan EZ General Insurance. Financial education will continue to be provided to help cardholders develop sound financial habits and prepare for a stable future after discharge, including asset management education.
