"Making K-Delivery Easier for Foreigners"... Baemin Releases English Guide for Delivery App Usage
English Version Released for Global Accessibility Awareness Day
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on May 21 that it has released an English version of its easy-to-use delivery app guide in commemoration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
The easy delivery app guide is a manual designed with simple language and illustrations, enabling anyone to use the Baemin app easily, regardless of disability or age. Since first creating this guide in 2021 for seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities who face difficulties using digital devices and delivery apps, Baemin has continued to update it every year on Global Accessibility Awareness Day.
This English version is intended to help foreigners use the Baemin app more conveniently, following the multilingual feature update of the Baemin app implemented in February. With a recent increase in visitors to Korea, the number of foreigners using delivery apps has also risen. In December of last year, Baemin’s global payment order volume surged by 300% compared to the same period the previous year. The distribution of this English guide is expected to significantly improve the accessibility and usability of delivery apps for foreign customers who do not speak Korean.
