Pocheon City installed ground lighting and solar-powered rail lighting along the Simgok Reservoir walking trail to improve the nighttime walking environment and create a pleasant resting space.
At the entrance to the walking trail, both ground and rail lighting were installed to enhance nighttime pedestrian safety. From the midpoint to the end of the trail, rail lighting was arranged to create a subtle nighttime landscape that blends with the reservoir. In particular, the use of solar-powered lighting increased eco-friendliness and ensured harmony with the natural scenery.
The city expects that the project will make it easier to identify walking routes at night, thereby improving safety for residents and visitors, and will provide a more comfortable environment for walking and relaxing for citizens visiting Simgok Reservoir.
