"Learn CPR Yourself"... Jeonbuk Bank Sets Up Safety Experience Zone at Headquarters
Recognizing the Importance of Securing the “Golden Hour” for Cardiac Arrest Patients
Infant and Child Manikins Prepared for Age-Specific Emergency Response
JB Financial Group's Jeonbuk Bank is running a life safety experience program for customers and employees in celebration of Family Month. As social demand grows for increasing public participation in CPR to secure the “golden hour” for cardiac arrest patients, hands-on education programs are expanding.
Jeonbuk Bank announced that it will operate the "JB Safety Experience Corner" in the lobby on the first floor of its headquarters for three days from May 20 to May 22. This event is designed to allow customers and employees visiting the bank to learn and practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) firsthand.
At the venue, demonstrations of CPR will be conducted, and participants will have the opportunity to practice themselves. Not only will there be three sets of adult practice manikins, but there will also be infant and child manikins available so that participants can learn age-specific emergency response methods.
The Jeonbuk Bank Safety Management Department conducted safety training at the 119 Safety Experience Center for headquarters security staff prior to operating this program. In addition to the hands-on training, banners providing information on food safety, traffic safety, and fire prevention—covering various everyday safety accidents—were set up throughout the venue to raise public awareness.
CPR presentation materials and videos are also being shown to make the emergency procedures easier to understand, and participating customers will receive commemorative gifts.
