The mobile healthcare project provides a service in which public health professionals (such as doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and exercise specialists) monitor participants' health status in real time through a smartphone app and deliver personalized remote health management services.
In particular, Kimcheon City has expanded the scope of the mobile healthcare project since 2025, extending its services from the general public to individuals with chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.
Now in its second year of collaboration with Korea Expressway Corporation, this project is expected to provide significant support in preventing chronic diseases and fostering healthy lifestyles by continuously managing the health indicators of busy office workers.
A representative from the Kimcheon Public Health Center stated, "Through this business agreement, we have established a foundation for office workers to more conveniently access health management services," adding, "We will continue to expand services that can be experienced in everyday life to do our utmost for health promotion and chronic disease prevention and management."
