Joint Efforts to Boost Automotive Industry Competitiveness
Renault Korea (CEO Nikola Parry) is joining forces with the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Yang Jae-seng) to revitalize the local economy in Busan and strengthen the competitiveness of the automotive industry.
On May 19, Renault Korea announced on May 20 that it had signed a "Sales Promotion Campaign Business Agreement (MOU)" with the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry at its Busan plant.
The signing ceremony was attended by key Renault Korea executives, including CEO Nikola Parry, Head of Internal and External Strategy Division Sang Hee-jung, Head of Sales Division Cho Wonsang, and Head of Manufacturing Division Kim Kisuk, as well as Chairman Yang Jae-seng and other officials from the Busan Chamber of Commerce.
On the 19th, at the Renault Korea Busan Plant, Renault Korea and the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a "Sales Increase Campaign Business Agreement." Nikola Paris, President of Renault Korea, Yang Jae-seng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce, and other executives and staff from Renault Korea and representatives from the Busan Chamber of Commerce posed in front of the camera.
View original imageThe two organizations will operate a vehicle purchase program for executives, employees, and their families of member companies of the Busan Chamber of Commerce. They also plan to collaborate on discovering new projects to revitalize the local economy.
In addition, they agreed to build a cooperative system to jointly promote their initiatives through the Busan Chamber's membership service channels and to boost the regional automotive industry. Following the signing ceremony, an on-site discussion was held to explore ways to enhance the competitiveness of Busan's automotive industry and revitalize the Busan plant.
The Renault Korea Busan Plant currently produces the Philoent, Grand Koleos, Arkana, and Polestar 4. The company explained that, based on its mixed production system and automation facilities, it has established a system capable of manufacturing vehicles with internal combustion engines, hybrids, and electric vehicle platforms.
Nikola Parry, CEO of Renault Korea, emphasized, "The Busan plant is Renault Korea's core production base," and added, "By cooperating with companies in the Busan region, we will contribute to the local economy and the development of Korea's automotive industry."

Yang Jae-seng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "The Renault Korea Busan Plant is a key pillar of Busan's manufacturing sector," and expressed, "I hope this will serve as a mutually beneficial cooperation model that will help vitalize the regional automotive industry and economy."
