BTS's 'Swim' Tops Billboard Global Chart for Sixth Time
BTS has reached the top of the Billboard 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart for the sixth time with their song 'Swim,' according to an announcement from Big Hit Music on May 20, 2026.
According to the latest Billboard chart dated May 23, the title track 'Swim' from BTS's fifth studio album 'Arirang' has maintained its No. 1 position on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart for a second consecutive week. With this, BTS has achieved their sixth No. 1 on this chart in 2026, surpassing Taylor Swift's record for the most No. 1s. 'Swim' also ranked No. 2 on the 'Global 200' chart for a third consecutive week, while all 13 tracks from the album have remained on both global charts for eight consecutive weeks.
'Arirang' ranked eighth on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200,' maintaining a spot in the top 10 for eight weeks. 'Swim' also entered the main singles chart, the 'Hot 100,' at No. 34, marking its eighth consecutive week on the chart. 'Arirang' placed fifth in Top Album Sales, and ranked No. 16 on both the Top Streaming Albums and Vinyl Albums charts. 'Swim' also appeared on various radio-related charts, including No. 11 on Pop Airplay, No. 16 on Adult Contemporary, No. 18 on Adult Pop Airplay, and No. 29 on Radio Songs.
On the Billboard World Albums chart, four BTS albums charted simultaneously. Their 2022 release 'Proof' climbed one spot to No. 3, marking its 205th week on the chart. The Japanese fourth studio album 'Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~' ranked No. 11, their third studio album 'Love Yourself 轉 Tear' was at No. 16, and their fifth mini album 'Love Yourself 承 Her' placed at No. 25.
