NOW Robotics Becomes Official Sponsor of 'RoboCup 2026 Incheon'... Joins Global Robotics Technology Exchange Stage
NOW Robotics, a leading intelligent robotics company, will participate as an official sponsor of 'RoboCup 2026 Incheon,' the world's largest robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) competition, as it seeks to expand its presence in the global robotics market.
NOW Robotics announced on May 20 that it will participate as an official sponsor of 'RoboCup 2026 Incheon,' which will be held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from July 1 to July 6.
RoboCup, launched in 1997, is an international robotics and AI competition where researchers, students, and robotics developers from around the world compete in fields such as autonomous driving, AI decision-making, robot control, and human-robot interaction. This year's event, hosted in Incheon for the first time in Korea, is expected to attract about 15,000 participants, including delegations from 45 countries, officials, and visitors from across the globe.
This year's competition will focus on five main categories: Soccer, Rescue, @Home, Industrial, and Junior. In addition to AI robotics technology contests, there will be corporate exhibitions and academic events, providing an opportunity to experience the latest technological trends and future vision of the global robotics industry.
Through this sponsorship, NOW Robotics plans to contribute to the activation of Korea's robotics industry ecosystem and the cultivation of future talent. As a robotics company that has grown based in Incheon, the company also aims to support the successful hosting of RoboCup—held in Incheon for the first time in Korea—and to help raise the status of the local robotics industry.
During the event, NOW Robotics will showcase its industrial articulated robot, 'NURO X Series,' and present its AI-based robot control technology and high-precision motion technology. The company plans to actively promote its technological vision and business competitiveness to the global robotics community and future talent gathered at the venue.
Jongjoo Lee, CEO of NOW Robotics, stated, "We are honored to participate as an official sponsor of 'RoboCup 2026 Incheon.' Building on the robotics expertise we have accumulated in the industry, we will establish ourselves as a company that contributes to the advancement of the AI robotics era."
