View original imageKorea Electric Power Technology announced on the 19th that, at a general shareholders' meeting, Kim Jongmin, Executive Vice President and Head of the Planning and Management Division, and Jang Byungyong, Executive Vice President and Head of the New Energy Business Division, were each appointed as Executive Directors.
This personnel appointment is seen as an effort by Korea Electric Power Technology, which is expanding its business portfolio with a focus on nuclear power plant exports and the expansion of renewable energy, to enhance organizational efficiency and strengthen its capacity to respond to future business opportunities.
Executive Vice President Kim joined Korea Electric Power Corporation in 1983 and has held various roles including Head of Power Demand Division and Head of the Electric Power Fund Project Group. He has built experience in energy policy and management, including power supply and demand and management of policy resources. Kim stated, "We will strengthen strategic resource allocation and business support systems to ensure that key projects such as nuclear power, small modular reactors (SMRs), and offshore wind power are stably promoted."

Executive Vice President Jang joined Korea Electric Power Technology in 1995 and has served as Head of the Thermal O&M Business Group and Head of the Convergence Business Division. He is recognized for his expertise across the power generation industry, including LNG combined cycle power generation and hydrogen. Jang stated, "We will seize the expansion of power demand resulting from carbon neutrality and the growth of the AI industry as new growth opportunities."
