Gimcheon City Hall Badminton Team Achieves Second Consecutive Team Championship at Iksan Presidential National Badminton Championships

The Gimcheon City Hall badminton team from North Gyeongsang Province won one gold medal and one bronze medal at the "2026 Presidential National Badminton Championships," which was held at the Iksan Indoor Gymnasium from the 12th to the 18th.
Once again, the team has demonstrated the strength of a top-tier professional club in Korea.
In particular, Gimcheon City Hall achieved a remarkable feat by claiming victory in the men's team event final after a spectacular match against the powerhouse Samsung Life Insurance team, winning the championship for the second consecutive year following last year's triumph.

In the doubles, the pairs of Kim Younghyuk and Shin Taeyang, as well as Na Seungsung and Wang Chan, showed fantastic teamwork and played a decisive role in securing the team championship.
The team also continued its success in the individual events.
In the men's doubles, the pair of Na Seungsung and Wang Chan added a valuable bronze medal after a fiercely contested match, finishing in third place.
