The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (President Park Jonggil) held a win-win event to support local small business owners and traditional markets.
On May 19, the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service announced that it held the "Win-Win Cooperation Together" event in the first-floor lobby of its Ulsan headquarters. The event took the form of a free market, with participation from local small business owners, social economy enterprises, village enterprises, and traditional markets.
A total of 25 companies took part in the event, selling local specialty products, daily necessities, handicrafts, and food. Employees of the organization and local residents also participated in the event, contributing to revitalizing the local commercial district and promoting consumption.
To encourage participation, the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service also held a prize event for customers who made purchases. The prizes consisted of products from the participating companies.
Since 2023, the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service has continued to hold win-win cooperation events to support local small business owners and traditional markets. In addition, the organization is pursuing social contribution activities, support for vulnerable groups, and traditional market revitalization projects. It has also received the highest grade for three consecutive years in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' evaluation of public institutions' co-prosperity efforts.
