On May 19, Otech Carrier announced the launch of its premium air conditioner, combining innovative design with advanced air management technology.
This new product is distinguished by its application of a 5-dimensional (5D) cooling system based on 'direct frontal airflow', achieved through an innovative fan structure. Strong airflow is expelled from the entire front of the device, ensuring that cool air is delivered seamlessly throughout large spaces.
The company explained that the product provides comprehensive three-dimensional cooling coverage without dead zones, not only in living rooms but also in commercial spaces such as office lounges and restaurants.
The design also emphasizes differentiation. By applying a premium front grill that reinterprets the structural beauty of nature in a modern way, the product harmonizes vertical patterns inspired by rainforests with metallic accents.
Through this, Otech Carrier has enhanced the overall design, making it suitable as an interior centerpiece in both home and commercial spaces.
In terms of cooling performance, the product incorporates Otech Carrier's Air Management Solution (AMS). By combining a large 126 mm diameter cross-flow fan with 15 eagle-wing louvers, it delivers powerful airflow and extended reach.
Additionally, wind blades modeled after golf ball surface structures and a 5D micro-curve guiding system diffuse the air more delicately. The product also supports directional adjustment of 110 degrees vertically and 90 degrees horizontally, ensuring even cooling in spacious areas.
User convenience features have also been enhanced. The artificial intelligence (AI) cooling function automatically maintains the indoor perceived temperature at around 26 degrees Celsius, while the 'Comfort Mode' directs airflow toward the ceiling to reduce direct drafts.
The airflow volume can be finely adjusted in 1% increments from 1% to 100%, enabling customized cooling to suit user preferences.
Energy efficiency and hygiene management have also been enhanced. Users can monitor energy consumption via a dedicated application, and when using the energy-saving mode, energy usage can be reduced by approximately 18.6% compared to normal operation.
The front grill is designed for removal in just five seconds, and the active clean function washes contaminants from the indoor heat exchanger, enabling hygienic management.
Notably, the unit is equipped with a function that automatically removes dust accumulated on the outdoor unit's heat exchanger. When the product is turned off, the outdoor fan motor reverses to shake off dust, which helps prevent reduced cooling efficiency and increased power consumption.
In addition, the product offers a total of six operation modes, including dehumidification, ventilation, sleep mode, and reservation mode, improving user convenience.
An Otech Carrier representative commented, "The new product delivers even cooling in large spaces through its direct frontal airflow technology, while also featuring nature-inspired design and enhanced energy efficiency. We plan to continue introducing differentiated premium appliances by integrating AI-based air solution technologies."
