Busan SW Meister High School Students Achieve Full Global AI Certification in Silicon Valley
Second-Year Students Earn NVIDIA DLI Certification Through Training Program
Hands-On AI and Deep Learning Education at San Jose State University
Students from Busan Software Meister High School have demonstrated their capabilities as practical AI professionals by obtaining the NVIDIA DLI (Deep Learning Institute) certification, a global AI education program, during their stay in Silicon Valley, United States.
Busan Software Meister High School announced that all second-year students participating in the "2026 Global Software Competency Enhancement Program," held in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley area from May 13 to 22, 2026, successfully obtained the NVIDIA DLI certification on May 16.
This training program was designed to strengthen students' global software and AI practical skills. The school set "acquisition of NVIDIA DLI certification by all participating students" as the core objective of the program and operated a hands-on training curriculum linked to local universities and the industry environment.
Students participated in a collaborative program with San Jose State University, where they received intensive education on AI and software development. The training was conducted by building deep learning models based on data used in real industrial settings and carrying out problem-solving projects.
Through team collaboration, practical assignments, and in-depth competency assessments, all participants successfully obtained the NVIDIA DLI certification.
NVIDIA DLI is a global education program that verifies problem-solving skills in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and data science, specifically in industrial contexts. The school noted that it is a significant achievement for high school students to complete a global-level AI training course and for all to be certified in Silicon Valley, the center of global technological innovation.
Students who participated in the training shared, "It was a very meaningful experience to build deep learning models using real industry data alongside local experts. Although the projects were challenging, collaborating with friends to achieve full certification gave us confidence in practical work."
