Kim Yongnam, Cho Kuk, and Kim Jaeyeon Hold Consecutive Campaign Office Opening Ceremonies in Pyeongtaek-eul
Held One Hour Apart on the Same Day
Candidates from the Democratic Party of Korea, the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, and the Progressive Party, who are running in the Pyeongtaek-eul National Assembly by-election held concurrently with the June 3 local elections, will each hold opening ceremonies for their campaign offices on May 16, at one-hour intervals.
Cho Kuk, the Innovation Party candidate, will hold his opening ceremony at 2 p.m.; Kim Yongnam, the Democratic Party candidate, at 3 p.m.; and Kim Jaeyeon, the Progressive Party candidate, at 4 p.m. All ceremonies will take place in Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek.
Kim Yongnam's opening ceremony will be attended by a large number of party leaders and lawmakers, including Democratic Party leader Jeong Cheongrae. The opening ceremony for Cho Kuk will see the attendance of many Innovation Party lawmakers.
