KB Kookmin Bank to Operate 'Heatwave·Cold Wave Shelters' at Branches Nationwide
'Heatwave·Cold Wave Shelters' Open from May 15 to September 30
'9To6 Bank' Branches Available Until 6 p.m.
KB Kookmin Bank announced that it will operate 'Heatwave·Cold Wave Shelters' at branches nationwide to help people stay cool and safe during the summer and warm during the winter.
The 'Heatwave·Cold Wave Shelter' program was established based on a 'Business Agreement for Promoting the Use of Heatwave·Cold Wave Shelters' signed between KB Kookmin Bank and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on April 28. Customers who wish to use the shelters can visit any nearby KB Kookmin Bank branch, regardless of whether they are a KB Kookmin Bank customer. They can escape the summer heat or winter cold in the consultation rooms or customer waiting areas of branches, which are equipped with air conditioning and heating facilities.
To prepare for the summer heat, the shelters will be available from May 15 until September 30. For winter cold, they will be open from November 15 until March 15 of the following year at KB Kookmin Bank branches nationwide. The shelters follow the bank’s business hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and at '9To6 Bank' branches, they are available until 6:00 p.m.
