Lee pledged to expand the school bus routes for middle and high school students throughout the entire city of Osan.
Currently, 19 school bus routes are in operation, and these will be expanded according to demand to improve transportation convenience for students who travel long distances to school.
Lee emphasized, "Commuting to school is a significant burden for both students and parents," and promised, "We will create a safe and convenient commuting environment so that students can focus on their studies."
A youth training center will be built in front of Saegyo Kkumdure Library.
The facility will cover a site area of 3,195 square meters and a total floor area of 7,350 square meters, consisting of four floors above ground and two basement levels. It will include accommodation for about 150 people and various spaces for training activities. This project is a continuation of the 8th popularly elected city administration’s pledges and will be implemented through public contribution by 2028.
Lee stated, "We will provide a space where young people can develop character and leadership through a variety of experiences," adding, "We will expand residential educational infrastructure within the region."
The youth counseling and welfare center will be relocated to the new youth training center to strengthen its functions.
The center, currently located in Osaek Market, will be moved to a more accessible and comfortable facility, where counseling, welfare, and program operations will be supported in an integrated manner.
Candidate Lee Gwonjae commented, "Policies spanning transportation, experiential learning, and counseling will bring real changes to the lives of young people," pledging, "I will make Osan a city that is ideal for raising children."
