I have experienced both the field and policy firsthand." He added, "Now, I will dedicate all of that experience and capability to one goal only—revitalizing the economy of my hometown, Changwon."
Kang declared, "Jobs are the best form of welfare. I will make Changwon the best city in Korea by creating a business-friendly environment and a city overflowing with job opportunities."
Kang also pledged to take on the ruling party head-on. He said, "I was subjected to what felt like the most severe scrutiny imaginable in Korea, but in the end, the truth prevailed and all suspicions were found to be 'groundless.' Yet now, they are attacking me again using the very same tactics as before." He appealed to the citizens, saying, "Will you allow yourselves to be swayed by political attacks, or will you choose someone who will work? I ask you to make the decision."
