Oh Sehoon: "Jeong Wonoh Always Avoids Difficult Issues... Unfit to Serve as Mayor"
"Calling the Garden of Gratitude Far-Right? An Incomprehensible Mindset"
"No Real Estate Solutions Offered for Seoul's Jeonse and Monthly Rent Crisis"
Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party's candidate for Seoul mayor, criticized Jeong Won-oh, the Democratic Party candidate, stating, "He always evades difficult issues with vague answers," and assessed, "He is a candidate unqualified to be Seoul mayor."
At the launch ceremony of the Seoul Party Election Countermeasures Committee held in front of the People Power Party's central office in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Oh remarked, "Many citizens are resonating with our intention to run a bottom-up election together with the public," and added, "Rather than a lawmaker-centered campaign committee, we will go into the community and create pledges together with citizens."

However, he criticized Jeong for labeling the Garden of Gratitude project as an 'election-driven, hasty administration,' calling it cowardly. "If he supports it, he should state so; if he opposes it, he should also make that clear," Oh pointed out.
He continued, "A few days ago, several key people from Jeong's campaign even claimed this project was a political scheme to appeal to the far right, which is a mindset I simply cannot understand," adding, "This is evidence of the chronic ideological worldview of the Democratic Party, which interprets everything solely through an ideological lens."
Oh further stated, "The Jeonse (long-term rental deposit) market has virtually collapsed, and monthly rents are endlessly soaring, causing Seoul citizens severe distress. Any normal candidate should mention this problem every day, yet he has not said a single word."
He went on to say, "With increases in property holding taxes, capital gains tax burdens, and loan regulations, citizens are facing difficulties. Dozens of redevelopment and reconstruction projects have stalled due to loan restrictions. And while the government continues to pressure private landlords who supply Jeonse and monthly rental units, they have failed to propose any solutions to this issue."

He is incompetent, irresponsible, and lacks vision. If we cannot win an election against such a candidate, then it is us who are incompetent."
