Yuhan Corporation to Hold 'Writing and Drawing Contest' on May 16 to Celebrate 100th Anniversary
Yuhan Corporation announced on May 11 that, in celebration of its 100th anniversary, it will hold a writing and drawing contest for employees' children on May 16 at Yuhan University and Yuhan Technical High School. Approximately 1,000 people, including employees, Yuhan Foundation faculty and staff, and their children, are expected to attend.
This event is designed to share Yuhan Corporation's 100-year history and founding philosophy with the next generation, and to provide an opportunity for communication and unity among employee families. The contest is open to children of Yuhan Corporation employees, and participants will be grouped into kindergarten, elementary, and middle/high school divisions.
The event will be divided into morning and afternoon programs. In the morning, the writing and drawing contests will take place. In the afternoon, a variety of experiential programs will be offered, including a tour of Yuhan Garden and the Dr. Ilhan New Memorial Hall to commemorate the 100th anniversary. Other activities include the ‘Yuhan Future Talent Academy,’ where participants can experience various majors offered at Yuhan Technical High School and Yuhan University, a 100th Anniversary Stamp Tour to explore the history and values of Yuhan, and special programs for families to enjoy together.
All participants will receive commemorative gifts, and after the contests, around 50 individuals will be selected to receive awards such as the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Encouragement Award, along with certificates and prize money.
A representative from Yuhan Corporation stated, "To mark our 100th anniversary, we have organized a meaningful event where employees and their families can experience Yuhan's values and history together. We hope this will be a precious opportunity for future generations to learn values that should remain unchanged over time and freely express their creativity and imagination."
