Kim Younghoon, Minister of Employment and Labor, welcomed the initiation of the Central Labor Relations Commission's post-mediation process between labor and management at Samsung Electronics, calling for dialogue and compromise in the spirit of mutual growth.
At a policy review and emergency employment and labor status meeting on the 11th, Minister Kim stated, "We welcome the commencement of the mediation process with the consent of both labor and management at Samsung Electronics, as they have entered the Central Labor Relations Commission's post-mediation procedure."

Just as labor and management have built a world-class company through technological prowess, they should also set a new standard in labor relations."
The Ministry of Employment and Labor plans to support labor and management at Samsung Electronics in reaching a consensus from the perspective of mutual growth, taking into account the various stakeholders who have contributed to achievements such as the continued growth of the semiconductor industry, economic development, and partner companies.

Minister Kim added, "I hope this case will serve as an opportunity for active social discussions on desirable performance sharing and distribution by companies, so that our labor relations can go beyond the pursuit of individual interests and establish a mutually beneficial relationship between labor and management. The government will also provide support for these efforts."
