"Exercise with Peace of Mind"... NH NongHyup Life Insurance Launches 'Undongssok NHe Injury Care Insurance'
On May 11, NH NongHyup Life Insurance announced the launch of the 'Undongssok NHe Injury Care Insurance', designed to help customers prepare for various injury risks that can occur during exercise.
'Undongssok NHe Injury Care Insurance' is a mini-insurance product that can be easily purchased through the NongHyup Life Insurance website and mobile app. It offers a one-year coverage for the following benefits: KRW 50,000 for cast treatment, KRW 50,000 for accident-related fracture treatment, KRW 50,000 for accident-related fracture surgery, KRW 50,000 for accident-related emergency room treatment (emergency patients), KRW 300,000 for Achilles tendon injury surgery, and KRW 300,000 for knee ligament rupture or cartilage injury surgery.
Subscription is available for individuals aged 19 to 60, and the premium is a one-time payment regardless of age: KRW 7,000 for men and KRW 5,500 for women. The product also offers a "gift" feature, allowing customers to present the insurance to family members or friends who enjoy exercising together.
In addition, reflecting the recent fitness trend—such as increased participation in major competitions, early sell-outs, and the growing enthusiasm for sports among Millennials & Gen Z—the company is running an "Exercise Type Test" event. By taking a simple test to determine their personal exercise type, customers can enter the event. A total of 1,000 winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as Olive Young gift certificates, Pocari Sweat, and NH Points.
