On May 5th and 6th (local time), LG Display held its recruitment program 'Technical Talk' in Los Angeles, USA, inviting outstanding master's and doctoral students from science and engineering universities in the United States to share the company's vision and promote its organizational culture.

View original imageThis event was organized in conjunction with 'Display Week,' the world's largest display industry event hosted by the Society for Information Display (SID), and was designed to provide direct engagement with local talent. Through this program, LG Display aims to proactively recruit young global engineering talent and further solidify its position as a technology-driven company based on talent excellence.
The event featured senior employees currently working as LG Display researchers, who introduced their own career growth stories, while recruitment managers explained the specific roles and responsibilities for each specialized technical field.
Choi Youngseok, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of LG Display, and Yang Junyoung, Head of the Advanced Technology Research Center, also attended the event in person to share LG Display’s technology philosophy. They participated in an open Q&A session, freely discussing topics ranging from the status of display technology in Korea to career concerns of engineering students.
Since the first quarter of this year, LG Display has been conducting recruitment briefings for master's and doctoral students in science and engineering fields at major cities across the United States. As the overall technological level of the industry and market demands rapidly increase, the company is focusing on strengthening its core competitiveness in talent—the key to a technology-driven company.
