Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority Promotes Innovation Ecosystem... 20 to 50 Million Won Support per Company
The Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority has selected 18 companies to participate in the '2026 Innovation Ecosystem Development Project'.
The purpose of the Innovation Ecosystem Development Project is to foster an innovation ecosystem within the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone by supporting the technological advancement and market entry of promising resident companies and providing customized support optimized for each company's stage of growth.
The selected companies possess differentiated technological capabilities in future core industries such as unmanned vehicles, future mobility, and bio.
The Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority has selected four companies for the 'Startup Project', and will provide up to 50 million won per company to promote the scaling up of early-stage companies and to create successful cases of innovative enterprises in the region.
In addition, 14 companies selected for the 'Demand-Based Support Project' will each receive approximately 20 million won in areas such as market development and marketing strategy, prototype production, participation in domestic and international exhibitions, and technology commercialization and certification acquisition.

Kim Neungsik, Commissioner of the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority, stated, "This project goes beyond simple financial support, placing emphasis on simultaneously strengthening company growth strategies and the development strategy of the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone Authority," adding, "We will continue to support innovative companies so that the Gyeonggi Free Economic Zone develops into a hub for the regional innovation ecosystem."
