Hankyungho, the People Power Party candidate for mayor of Jinju City, officially launched his campaign office, signaling the start of his full-scale local election campaign.
On the 9th, Candidate Hankyungho held the opening ceremony at his campaign office in Gajwa-dong, Jinju City, with citizens, supporters, and People Power Party members in attendance. The event was also attended by lawmakers Park Daechul and Kang Minguk, Park Wansu, candidate for governor of South Gyeongsang Province, candidates for Jinju city and provincial council, as well as other prominent local figures, all reaffirming their commitment to victory in the local elections.
The venue was crowded with participants even before the event began, demonstrating high interest.

View original imageThe ceremony was held under the slogan, "Finances like the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the future like the Defense Acquisition Program Administration," with speakers emphasizing the need for Jinju's development and revitalization of the local economy in their congratulatory remarks.
Lawmaker Park Daechul stated, "Jinju needs a mayor who can earn the trust of citizens through action and results," adding, "It is crucial to play a pivotal role for Jinju’s new leap forward."
Lawmaker Kang Minguk stressed, "It is time to revive the stagnating local economy and strengthen the foundation for future industries," and called for unity among the local political community.
The candidate introduction video showcased Hankyungho’s experience as a public official at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, as well as his policy implementation capabilities.
Candidate Hankyungho remarked, "This election is an important starting point that will determine Jinju's new future," pledging, "I will lead Jinju’s economic resurgence based on my experience in central government cooperation and administration."
He also stated, "By fostering the aerospace industry and future strategic industries, I will build a greater Jinju and a more competitive city."
Meanwhile, Kim Dongwoo, the Our Republican Party candidate for mayor of Jinju City, also attended the event and drew attention by expressing his willingness to cooperate for the victory of the conservative camp.
