"Hope" tells the story of mysterious beings appearing at Hopho Port, located in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Hwang Jung-min plays Beomseok, the head of the Hopho Port branch office, while Zo In-sung portrays Seonggi, a young man from the village. Hollywood actors Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Taylor Russell take on the roles of alien characters.
