Gyeongsan City Hosts Business Meeting with Delegation from Shenzhen Electronics Chamber of Commerce, China
Expanding Global Investment to Overcome International Challenges
On May 7, Gyeongsan City invited a delegation from the Shenzhen Electronics Chamber of Commerce in China to the Gyeongsan Industrial Complex Multipurpose Culture Center, where a meeting was held with local companies.
This meeting was organized as part of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province’s efforts to expand global investment attraction and respond to the recent challenging international economic conditions, based on the network established through the POST-APEC Investment Forum. Gyeongsan City took an active role in promoting and participating in this initiative.

View original imageThe Shenzhen Electronics Chamber of Commerce is an industry association based in Shenzhen, often referred to as the “Silicon Valley of China,” and consists of approximately 2,900 member companies in the electronic information sector. The organization wields significant influence in cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors, AI, and smart manufacturing.
The meeting was attended by a 25-member delegation representing 18 companies affiliated with the Shenzhen Electronics Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from 10 local companies in Gyeongsan and officials from the Gyeongbuk Institute of IT Convergence Industry Technology Foundation. They shared information on Gyeongsan’s investment environment and explored opportunities for mutual cooperation and the pursuit of joint projects.
In particular, the Gyeongbuk Institute of IT Convergence Industry Technology Foundation introduced the current status and development direction of Gyeongsan’s advanced IT industry. The foundation also proposed serving as a platform to support connections between companies in both regions, aiming to build a sustainable cooperation system beyond one-time exchanges.
The Shenzhen Electronics Chamber of Commerce responded with strong interest and expressed a positive stance on expanding exchanges in the future.
