HS Hyosung Advanced Materials Included in Dow Jones Best-in-Class Index for Three Consecutive Years
Selected as an Outstanding ESG Company Among Korea’s Top 200 Corporations
Chosen as a “Yearbook Member” in the Global Top 15%
HS Hyosung Advanced Materials announced on May 8 that it has been recognized for its achievements in sustainable management, being consecutively listed on the global ESG indices "Dow Jones Best-in-Class (DJ BIC) Korea" and "The Sustainability Yearbook 2026."
According to HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, the company has been included in the DJ BIC Korea index for three consecutive years. DJ BIC is a sustainability management evaluation index published annually by the global financial information provider S&P Global. DJ BIC Korea selects only the top 30% of companies with outstanding ESG management performance in their respective industries from among the top 200 companies by market capitalization in Korea.
The company has also been listed for two consecutive years in S&P Global’s "The Sustainability Yearbook 2026." This yearbook evaluated over 9,200 companies across 59 global industry groups, and HS Hyosung Advanced Materials was selected as a "Yearbook Member," a designation given to companies that rank within the top 15% globally in their respective industry groups.
CEO Lim Jindal stated, "Being included in DJ BIC Korea for three consecutive years and listed in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for two consecutive years is an indicator that we have consistently implemented meaningful changes for sustainable management." He added, "We will continue to strengthen our response to climate change and reinforce our corporate social responsibility in the future."
HS Hyosung Advanced Materials is pursuing four key strategies for sustainable management: ▲ "Zero Fatality" for major accident prevention ▲ "Zero Emission" for carbon emission reduction and production of low-carbon products ▲ "Zero Waste" for resource efficiency and realization of a circular economy ▲ "Zero Impact" for strengthening stakeholder responsibility management.

Additionally, the company explained that it is reinforcing its responsible management system by establishing and executing company-wide ESG strategies through the Sustainability Management Committee, which is overseen by top management, along with its specialized subcommittees.
