Xperix Expands Integrated AI Solutions Business Through Partnership With FuriosaAI
AI-based identity recognition specialist Xperix is accelerating its expansion into integrated AI solutions by entering into a strategic partnership with AI semiconductor company FuriosaAI.
On May 8, Xperix announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with FuriosaAI for the supply of NPU (Neural Processing Unit)-based AI solutions and strategic business collaboration.
Under this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly develop an “AI All-in-One Appliance” that combines Xperix’s AI software and agentic AI-based automation services with FuriosaAI’s second-generation high-performance NPU “RNGD (Renegade)” server.
This solution is characterized by its turnkey approach, providing an end-to-end service from infrastructure setup to operation, rather than the traditional method of building servers, software, and system integration (SI) separately. It is designed to be applicable to a wide range of industries by offering industry-specific AI models, data processing, and work automation capabilities together.
With this collaboration, Xperix is expanding its business scope from its existing identity recognition AI specialization to become an integrated AI solutions provider encompassing hardware, software, and services. As a result, changes to the company’s revenue structure are also expected going forward.
The company anticipates that, by shifting its business model from a focus on AI software licensing to a combined offering of NPU server supply and deployment/operation services, the contract size per order will also increase.
In particular, the company expects that the rapid growth in demand for on-premises AI infrastructure—especially in security-sensitive industries such as finance, the public sector, and healthcare—could lead to tangible revenue within the year.
FuriosaAI’s Renegade server “NXT RNGD” is regarded as competitive in terms of power efficiency and deployment/operation costs compared to NVIDIA GPUs. The company explained that, as AI adoption spreads and demand grows for large-scale infrastructure, it is attracting attention as a practical alternative for both enterprises and public institutions.
Industry observers also believe that the combination of domestically developed NPUs and AI software gives the companies a competitive edge in the public procurement market.
Going forward, the two companies plan to collaborate on optimizing AI workloads and building industry-specific reference architectures. Through this, they aim to establish an infrastructure structure that can be expanded to AI data centers in the future.
A Xperix official commented, “This partnership marks the beginning of an AI solution delivery model that goes beyond simple infrastructure supply to provide solutions that can be immediately used in real-world environments. By concretizing agentic AI-based work automation and industry-specific AX (AI Transformation) application models, we aim to grow as an integrated AI solutions provider that supports companies’ transitions to AI in a practical way.”
