Winix Enters Ice Water Purifier Market with Launch of ‘Compact Ice Water Purifier’
Winix, a home appliance company, announced on May 8 that it has launched its new product, the ‘Compact Ice Water Purifier’.
This new product marks Winix’s official entry into the ice water purifier appliance market. Until now, Winix has focused its business on seasonal appliances such as air purifiers, dehumidifiers, mini dryers, and window-type air conditioners. However, the company is now expanding into the broader home appliance sector in an effort to secure a stable profit structure.
Since launching its first hot and cold water dispensers in 1987 and accumulating experience in the water purifier market, Winix aims to differentiate itself with this new product by combining its technological expertise and brand competitiveness.
The ‘Compact Ice Water Purifier’ features a slim 22cm design for efficient use of space. Hygiene has been enhanced with an internal sterilization system and UV function. The device effectively removes harmful substances and offers an automatic filter cleaning function for convenient maintenance. The product is available in two colors: white and gray. Both water dispensing and temperature can be set at four different levels for added user convenience.
