Korea Media Rating Board Recruiting Members for Rating Classification Committees
Applications Open Until May 20
At Least Five Years of Experience in Relevant Fields Required
The Korea Media Rating Board will be accepting applications for subcommittee members for the rating classification committee until May 20, 2026.
Members will be selected for four subcommittees in the fields of film, video, advertising, and performance recommendations, as well as for the post-management committee and expert committee. Anyone with at least five years of experience or expertise in related fields such as media, education, culture, journalism, law, or youth affairs is eligible to apply.
The term for all committee members is one year from the date of appointment. Duplicate applications across different recruitment categories are not permitted. However, within the subcommittees, applicants may select up to two preferred areas (film, video, advertising, performance recommendation).

Subcommittee members are responsible for assigning age-based ratings to domestic and foreign films and videos, verifying the potential harm of advertisements and promotional materials to youth, and recommending domestic performances by foreign artists. Post-management committee members handle follow-up activities related to rating classification by field, while expert committee members conduct preliminary reviews of film rating classifications.
