The NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship, part of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, welcomes spectators as an "ESG Golf Festival."
This year, the event goes beyond a simple golf tournament to embrace environmental and social values. NH Investment & Securities, the organizer, will operate a variety of programs that combine enhanced benefits for spectators with social contribution activities during the three-day tournament held at Suwon Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, starting from May 8.

All attendees who use public transportation or walk to the venue will receive a 10,000 won discount on admission tickets purchased on site. An NH Investment & Securities representative explained, "As this tournament attracts more than 30,000 spectators every year, we planned this initiative to promote environmental protection by encouraging the use of public transportation."
The event has also strengthened sharing programs for the local community and underprivileged groups. For the second consecutive year, a rice consumption promotion campaign led by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NongHyup) has been combined with golf. The "Miracle Zone" set up at the 14th hole stands out. Each time a player's tee shot lands in this area, NongHyup Agribusiness Group accumulates 500,000 won worth of NongHyup rice. Up to 30 million won worth of rice will be collected during the tournament and delivered to future talent among the underprivileged.
The "Happiness Rice Food Truck" will also operate to replenish the energy of players and caddies. By providing hearty meals made with Korean rice, the organizers aim to help athletes perform at their best and use the food truck as a promotional platform to highlight the value of local agricultural products to spectators.
